This is a website devoted to Cloud and Aerith's love as portrayed in Final Fantasy VII, the Compilation, and other games. The whole issue of the love triangle will be discussed in detail, and evidence will be provided to show that Cloud and Aerith are the true and intended couple of the game. Construction Updates
10/23/08 - Happy Halloween! Some terrific CloudxAerith Halloween fanarts are included in this update to celebrate the season. The Doujinshi section has also been expanded and updated with new doujinshi of Cloud, Aerith, CloudxAerith, and other Compilation characters. Both can be found under Fanart & Graphics. Two new essays have been added for this update, including an essay about Finding Inner Light: The Theme of Kingdom Hearts II, by Alantie in the Kingdom Hearts section, and an essay on FFVII and FFX Parallels: Love Beyond Death, by aerisbolt in the section on Other Games. The essay on Calling and Reminiscence has also been updated. Two new videos by Zoyandra and by Yuna800 can be found in the Clerith Videos section. New stories have also been added to the section on Clerith Fanfiction, including The Voice by Alantie Mistaniu, Sacrifice by Drake Clawfang, and links to more recommended CloudxAerith fanfiction at Fanfiction.net. 8/31/08 - Hope you enjoy the new layout! Many thanks to Kaldea of the CloudxAerith forums for creating the beautiful site graphics. The Compilation section of the site has been started with three essays by Alantie, including Zack and Aerith's Relationship in Crisis Core, Relationships of the Past, and The Love Triangle in Dirge of Cerberus. Essays have also been added to the FFVII Essays section, including The Artwork of Yoshitako Amano, Whose Hero is Cloud?, Cloud's Grief, and Several Paths, One Destination. The Fanart & Graphics section has been reformatted as well as updated with new CloudxAerith fanart, new Aerith fanart, and new Cloud fanart. There's also two new Clerith videos by Drake Clawfang, and another by killmecloudstrife, which can be found in the Videos section.
7/28/08 - For this update, new Cloud and Aerith Doujinshi has been added under Fanart & Graphics, and a wonderful new video by Alyssa 1818 set to Kiss From a Rose can be found under Clerith Videos. A new essay called "Is Maiden of the Planet Canon?" discusses why the evidence provided in this novella is official. Another essay about Final Fantasy Parallels by Drake Clawfang in Other Games discusses the typical pattern of love pairings found in Final Fantasy, and a new essay by Kuraudo on Cloud and Zack's Friendship can be found under the Cloud Shrine. There are also two new CloudxAerith Fanfictions for you to enjoy called The Planet's Song and Twilight, written by Drake Clawfang
6/18/08 - This update includes a new essay on Cloud's Light in the Kingdom Hearts section. Other new essays include Extending the Boundaries of Love, Cameo Appearances, and Subsequent Games in the section on Other Games. Essays about Hojo's experimentation on Cloud in Nibelheim, along with commentary from the FFVII Ultimania Omega on how this experimentation affected Cloud's "real self", can be found in the Cloud Shrine under The Real Cloud and Failed Experiment. A new video by FeraNelia is in the Clerith Videos section, and the Graphics section has been updated with more CloudxAerith sigs by True Serenity and Clerith Wallpapers by Immense Beauty and Tenshi Aerith. 5/19/08 - Please note that this website is still under construction. A lot of new CloudxAerith fanart has been added in this update under the sections for Submitted Fanart, Aerith Fanart, Cloud Fanart, CloudxAerith Fanart, and Doujinshi. Many thanks to Vainslef, Tsutsa, Tenshuu Youkai, and Den-chan - all terrific artists from DeviantArt - for letting me host their fanarts of Cloud and Aerith! Also in this update: more evidence about the love of Cloud and Aerith in the Compilation has been added to our Advent Children Love Triangle FAQ, and a new essay on The Symbolism of Yin-Yang discusses one of the common claims made by CloudxTifa supporters.
4/30/08 - New essays have been added for this update, including Calling and Reminiscence, Aerith's Relationship with Zack, Evidence that Cloud Still Loves Aerith, Aerith Didn't Love Cloud Because of Zack, and Aerith and Zack in Maiden of the Planet. The Ultimanias section has also been started with an essay About the Highwind Scene in the Ultimanias along with essays about the Highwind Scene under Final Fantasy VII Essays. See the CloudxAerith fanfiction section for some terrific new stories by Xeal II, Alantie Mistaniu, and Materia Thief that are now hosted on this site. Thanks to all of these authors for letting me host their stories! You'll find more videos in the Clerith Videos section, and more CloudxAerith sigs and icons under Graphics. More essays have also been added to the Cloud Shrine and Aerith Shrine, although the Shrines are not yet complete.
3/26/08 - This website is still under construction. More content and essays will be added to all sections, so be watching for changes! The Fanart & Graphics section has been updated with Cloud Fanart, CloudxAerith Fanart, Doujinshi, Graphics, links to More Compilation FanArt, and new pictures in Submitted Fanart. The CloudxAerith Fanfiction section has been updated with links to recommended stories. Essays have been added to the section on FFVII Essays, and the FFVII Love Triangle FAQ has been updated. Minor tweaks and edits have been made to other pages as well. Enjoy!
